Found a small luggage lock the other day, and it was closed. Luckily, the lock was very easy to pick. Once open, one has to follow the instructions very closely to set a new combination:

Turn counterclockwise 90° and press it down
Press down a little more and turn another 90°
Set new combination
Turn back
